Hans Steel Canada is a steel processing company that specializes in steel products for building construction. In 2015, when Hans Steel purchased the property at 6 Sangster Road, Uxbridge, there was an existing 1-storey warehouse with office spaces on the ground floor and mezzanine level. TAES Architects then designed an additional floor area of 2,700 m2, which included the steel processing systems, that was integrated into the existing building.
To support the business’ expansion in 2020, a new 1-storey, 7,784 m2 warehouse attached to a 2-storey, 980 m2 office is proposed. The contemporary style, using glass and aluminum panels, will complement the industrial nature and purpose of the building.
