The Bridleton is a sweeping V-shaped residential tower located at the corner of Finch Avenue East and Bridletowne Circle in Scarborough’s Bridlewood neighbourhood. The new development will offer up to 300 residential units with 2 storeys of underground parking.
The bottom two levels feature 2-storey live-work townhouse units each with private entrances and unique spiraling staircases. The building rises to a 7-storey podium to provide a strong corner edge condition while public art wind mitigation measures line the intersection and up along bridletowne circle. The more private north side of the building opens up to the outdoor amenity which includes a playground and dog park.
The materials chosen for the facades are precast brick panels and glass window-walls in contemporary muted white and grey tones.
